Sources have stated that although a few Congress leaders stepped in to campaign for the candidate and party, there is no reception from the public. Senior leaders like Chiranjeevi have escaped, PCC president of AP Raghuveera Reddy is sole campaign face for Congress in Nandyal and there is no use.
According to sources the former Agricultural minister in YS Rajasekhar Reddy cabinet is not getting due response at all. Meanwhile on other hand, both TDP and YSRCP are having a tug of war in Nandyal where they roped in several seniors to campaign in the constituency. While all major ministers, MLAs and leaders are campaigning for TDP in Nandyal and film actors Balakrishna, Venu Madhav too rallying, YSRCP has Roja, Jagan and other leaders.
Furthermore even there were no crowd for Jagan's road show on sixth day and he had to wait for two hours to start his road show while his party leaders tried their best to gather crowd in meantime. Looks like, TDP is getting good response from people. The sympathy on Bhuma family too working in this favor and yet, it is not going to be easy for the TDP either.
