Nandyal sources have reported that YSR Congress Party (YSRCP) president YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Sunday questioned the TDP's poll promises about smart city, airport and IIIT for Kurnool that were never implemented in the past three years. Meanwhile braving incessant rains on Sunday, the YSRCP chief addressed a mammoth crowd and listed out the promises made by chief minister N Chandrababu Naidu during the 2014 assembly elections.
YS Jagan said "Not a single promise was fulfilled nor a foundation stone lay during the past three years by the TDP government. As the by-poll schedule was announced for Nandyal, the entire TDP leadership descended on the town with their list of fake promises".
Furthermore he called on the voters in YSR Nagar of the constituency to use their judgment before casting their vote in the by-elections and said that there is a need to remove from power the corrupt government of the Telugu Desam Party. Moreover YSRCP party nominee for the Nandyal by-poll Silpa Mohan Reddy and other senior leaders were present on the occasion.
