Sources from Chittoor have made a statement that closes on the heels of the arrest of political satirist Ravi Kiran, a 30-year-old man on Monday was arrested for allegedly posting morphed photos of AP chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and his son Lokesh on social media.
According to sources Basavaraju, a native of Kaliganuru village of Santhipuram in Chittoor district morphed the pictures of the leaders as they were beaten up by women and posted them on social media. He also posted the pictures trolling the chief minister's Nandyal campaign.
Sources have stated that the pictures were posted on a page titled 'YSRCP unofficial'. Meanwhile based on the complaint lodged by TDP leader Subbu, the police registered a case and took Basavaraju into custody.
