According to sources the Excise department however is still continuing the inquiry and taking all measures to eradicate the drug menace from its roots. Sources have stated that in almost every interview, Director of Prohibition and Excise Director (Enforcement) Akun Sabharwal has been alerting Parents regarding their children's late night Pub visits and Vacations, especially to Goa.
Meanwhile following this, parents are disallowing their children to go for Goa vacations where the drug menace is rampant. Good number of travel agencies has reportedly got requests for the cancellation of already booked trips. Currently parents have also curbed their children's late night parties and pub visits, since more and more cases of students falling prey to drugs are being uncovered with each drug bust in the city.
Meanwhile, the Enforcement Department has served notices to as many as 20 high profile Pubs in Hyderabad where the drugs are allegedly being supplied. Some pubs are not drugs' suppliers but they are allegedly providing conducive ambience for uninhibited consumption of drugs.
