Thalaimalai is a rural village which is located near Trichy city in Tamil Nadu. At the top of the hill, there is a temple named as Nallendra Perumal Kovil. This is one of the oldest temples and during the Tamil month of Puratasi bhakts will come in heaps and offer their prayers.
To offer their prayers, some hardcore bhakts even walk around the tiny space around the temple. By tiny, we mean, you can't even rest your foot properly over that. In this case, one of such devotees who went around the temple for 3 rounds, slipped and tripped over the 4000 feet height.
Other bhakts who watched this were shell-shocked and they were sound struck. Cops who came to the situation found out the guy who fell down is Aarumugam (38) and he is an Auto driver. He has a wife named Sarah and as the couple never had a baby for a long time, he wanted to offer his blessings by coming around the temple three times. The rescue team searched his body for two days and just today morning his body was found out at Sevanthipatti village which is behind the hills.
