Andhra Pradesh sources have stated that YS Jagan has announced the first candidate of his party for the 2019 general elections. Jagan has named Cherukulapadu Sridevi as the Pathikonda Assembly candidate from the YSRCP party. Meanwhile with the naming of the first candidate ahead of one and a half year to general polls, the temperature in political circuits has raised especially in Kurnool district.
Earlier Jagan made this announcement during his Praja Sankalpa Yatra in Kurnool district. Meanwhile on Saturday, Jagan interacted with the people in Krishnagiri and announced Sridevi as their representative. He asked people to give Sridevi double the majority they usually give to Cherukulapadu Narayana Reddy.
