A Telangana girl who cheated on her husband and killed him along with her alleged lover, and later threw acid on him as well, was arrested by police. The girl, identified as Swathi, was married to Sudhakar Reddy Two years back, but later fell in love with Rajesh, and later plotted with Rajesh to kill Sudhakar Reddy.
On November 26, Swathi along with Rajesh attacked Sudhakar Reddy with an iron rod and killed him, and later buried him in Maisamma forest area. Later, in an attempt to bring Rajesh into the family, she threw acid on his face, to make her family believe that it was her husband Sudhakar Reddy whose face was disfigured after an acid attack. Sudhakar's brothers who believed the lie spent almost 5 lakhs for his plastic surgery and treatment.

However, Sudhakar Reddy's mother got suspicious, as Rajesh couldn't act like Sudhakar, and never spoke family matters, and she openly declared that it's not Sudhakar. After being investigated by the police, Swathi accepted the crime, following which she was arrested. Rajesh will be arrested after his treatment, while Sudhakar's corpse has been recovered from the forests as well.
