On the inaugural ceremony of Atal Bihari Vajpayee international auditorium, the HRD minister Satyapal Singh, addressing a gathering of politicians and students said that only Hindi language has the capacity to unite India.
While telling that students are the ambassadors of the nation, he also said that though countries like China and Japan don't have a day to celebrate their language, India has Hindi Divas and that the language represents a 5000-year-old Vedic culture.
The minister also said that Hindi was the language of the freedom movement, Mahatma Gandhi spoke it, and it's time to bring Hindi everywhere in India. The auditorium, established at a whopping 8.5 crores budget can seat 350 audiences, and the Kendriya Hindi Sansthan director KN Pandey revealed that the auditorium will be used as a platform to spread Hindi and it's importance.
