Just like how it has been happening for the last few years, every phase of AP politics is resembling a spy thriller and now TRS-Congress merger discussions are doing rounds everywhere in AP especially in Telangana.
The people of Seemandhra are now in peaks of anger and disgust at the manner in which the Congress leadership has ditched them to gain political benefits in Telangana region. Now in case TRS merges with Congress, sources say Congress leadership feels it can once again retain some goodwill.
This is in Seemandhra region and they are relying on one logic. The logic is that TRS was solely responsible for Telangana movement and also for anti-Andhra rhetoric and statements but in case the party is taken off the scene by Congress into itself, Seemandhra people will lose that hatred towards Congress.
This is because they will no longer see the pink flag in Hyderabad and also slowly being a national party, Seemandhra people in Telangana will also slowly forget all the tensions. So Congress feels it can win TRS now and next Andhra folks trust once again!
