For one definite reason, there are reports that Congress leadership is missing former AP CM YS Rajashekar Reddy and that is in terms of funding. During his tenure, YSR ensured that Congress was well fed with strong financial resources, as per close circles of the late leader. Sources say that in addition to the burden of incumbency, Congress party's task in the current Lok Sabha polls looks further complicated by what party managers reportedly claim is a severe funds crunch, which placed it at a further disadvantage vis-a-vis a resurgent BJP. It is being said that between Congress and BJP, they are getting 90% of the money, while Congress is getting just 10 percent with reports that the financial deficit Congress is facing this time is unprecedented. Critics of YSR allege that it was his massive corrupt money that funded entire Congress campaign in India during 2009 polls and that is how YSR made sure Sonia couldn't take away CM post from him.
