When TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu dropped hints that instead of Kesineni Nani, under Pawan’s pressure he may okay Potluri Vara Prasad’s candidature, then Jagan media was rejoicing that Babu is all set to mess up things for TDP in Vijayawada.
But now with Naidu handing the B-form to Kesineni Nani in Vijayawada, sources say that the main rival unit of TDP is reportedly hoping that PVP should contest at least as independent. This will ensure that the crucial Kamma votes get split.
And in the confusion its tainted nominee Koneru Prasad can win the Lok Sabha seat here. But sensing this, sources say that Pawan Kalyan is reportedly convincing PVP that unlike Malkajgiri where he can afford to campaign for JP against TDP candidate Malla Reddy, he may not be able to the same in Vijayawada.
It is heard that he is convincing PVP to withdraw from filing his nomination. This issue has been going on since a long time and it is not sure if PVP is going to take a backstep or not. If PVP contests as independent, it is sure to affect TDP and make Jagan happy.
