Y S R Congress party will come to power in the Residuary AP state in the next elections, YSRC chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy has asked his party leaders and workers to come stay with him till the goal is achieved. At the same time, he has told them that he will stand by them whenever they face any problem.
Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy, who is on a four-day visit to his native district, told this at a meeting of his party corporators here on Thursday. The meeting assumes significance in the wake of reports of the ruling TDP trying to woo the main opposition party’s elected representatives into its fold to win the municipal corporations and municipalities across the state and also in the Kadapa district, the bastion of YSRC.
In the meeting, each corporator was given a chance to introduce himself. Later, Jagan Mohan Reddy called out the names of each corporator divisionwise and many corporators were seen whispering whether they were in a school and whether the class teacher was taking attendance
