Well it may sound bizarre. The whole issue of AP and Telangana fight in Hyderabad was mainly over the division of employees.
On this issue, those who were from Seemandhra and wanted to settle in Hyderabad or already settled in Hyderabad had vociferously demanded options for them, which was aggressively countered by Telangana employees.
Now with Chandrababu enhancing the retirement age from 58 to 60 for state government employees, they are reportedly saying they don’t want to go with T-state and would prefer working with AP.
They are now planning not to give any options because they feel they can only work for AP government for time being till they retire and even if they get transferred, then it is fine for them as they can have extra two years in service.
