YSRCP leaders in Guntur district took a decision to penalize their MPTC member Nagabhooshanamma with 1 lakh rupees for her absence in the election. Nagabhooshanamma won the election from Marripudi as YSRCP candidate. She later joined in TDP camp before the election of the Chairman.
YSRCP leaders and other village leaders brought her from the house and asked her the reason for skipping at the time of Chairman Election. Some of the women have assaulted at her. YSRCP leaders made an allegation that she absent after taking 1 lakh from TDP leaders. She said that she absent due to ill-health. Due to her absence TDP has won the ZP.
YSRCP leaders said that Bapatla MLA Raghupathy was spending much amount for her victory in local body elections. After some time Police entered into the scene and rescued Nagabhooshanamma from them. Police asked YSRCP leaders to made complaint against her on defection.
