Being a Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, CBN was completed one month of his governance. He starts working before officially taking the charge as Chief Minister. Every one trying to put CBN in corner in waiving of farmer loans issue. CBN has successfully convinced RBI director Raghuram Rajan on rescheduling crop loans to the farmers. The expected burden for AP Government to the banks is around 30K crores.
The second major relief for Andhra Pradesh is non-stop supply of power. AP is already selected for pilot project in this regard. Yenamala announced that 24X7 Power supply to domestic purposes is going to be implemented from October 02nd onwards and 9 hours quality power for farmers. NTPC Chairman has promised to give 300 MW from its plants in Jajjar. NTPC also agreed to set up Solar Park in Guntur immediately if AP government agreed to assign land for this purpose.
Getting permission for another 600 MBBS seats from Medical Council of India (MCI) is another achievement of CBN. MCI sanctioned three medical colleges to the Andhra Pradesh. MCI allotted 150 MBBS seats each for Padmavathi Women Medical College, Nellore Government Medical College and Kurnool Vishwabharathi Medical College. These three are major developments during 30 days of CBN governance.
