The TRS government is all set to present its maiden budget, but sources say that finance minister Etela Rajender is an unhappy man with the chief minister K Chandrashekar Rao reportedly calling the shots in the finance ministry.
Rajender's role is now more or less reduced to merely reading the budget speech prepared by the CM KCT in the assembly during the first week of September.
In what is being seen as sidelining Etela completely, KCR has reportedly communicated to all the department heads for sending him their budget estimates making the finance minister just a dummy.
Adding to Etela's disillusionment CM has taken over the finance portfolio completely and left him with just civil supplies. However, the chief minister's office has reportedly claimed that CM's intention was not to sideline the Etela because he is very much new to his job while KCR has good experience having worked as transport minister in the TDP government and as Union labour minister in the UPA government.
