The future seems to be looking bleak especially for any democratic government in AP as caste is expected to be playing a vital role in the way for days to come.
The Deputy CM of AP Chinarajappa, reportedly confessed recently that he got the post only because of caste equations given the fact that he hails from the influential Kapu community.
Recently when Kapu Nadu was organized at Eluru, a key Kapu leader BL Narasimha Rao reportedly declared that though Chandra Babu Naidu may be the CM of AP, but for Kapus were the CM is none other than Chinarajappa.
The Kapu leaders proudly declared that no political party would be able to come to power in AP without their community’s support of their community while also demanding that Kapus need to be given reservations within a year and half. So it looks like the numerically significant Kapus now call the shots for near future in AP.
