The meeting between the engineering giant Larsen &Toubro and Telangana State Chief Minister KCR recently may have given an impression that all is well. Sources say that it may be anything but calm before a storm!
Now while everyone thought the dust is settled, sources say that the official representative of Telangana in Delhi, Venugopalachari blasted L&T saying that the company is ready to go if it wants to.
He also added that there are many companies and even the government can take over completely. While the government in Hyderabad is working hard to ensure that future investments doesn’t take a hit due to this issue, it has to be seen whether he made these statements in personal capacity or officially.
There are reports in national media, which mentioned TRS sources saying L&T’s actions are nothing but corporate blackmail of first order. It has to be seen where the issue is headed next even as many well-wishers of TS feel the dust should settle down and the state should get good investments!
