As per the sources, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana governments recommended the names of Nandamuri Taraka Ramarao and P.V.Narasimha Rao for Bharat Ratna this time.
The sources are saying that Padma Sri was recommended for Balakrishna. The state government has sent a letter to the Union government saying that Balakrishna is serving as the MLA and earned a good name as film hero too. The letter also mentioned that he is also doing social service activities, including running a cancer hospital.if all goes well, the Nandamuri family could end up either Bharat Ratna or Padma Sri or both.
