Before the general elections in 2014, there was an agreement takes place between Vallabhaneni Vamsi and Dasari Balavardhana Rao on Gannavaram Assembly Segment. As per buzz, TDP President Chandrababu Naidu was made a compromising formula between two parties. He was promised Chairmanship for Krishna District Milk Producers Cooperative union Limited (Vijaya Dairy) to Dasari and convinced him to withdraw from Gannavaram as TDP Nominee.
That gives road clear to Vamsi to contest as TDP ticket from Gannavaram. Mandava Janaki Ramaiah is currently serving as Chairman for Vijaya Dairy and developed the Dairy throughout the district. Ramaiah has become very much close to the farmers. Ramaiah violates the agreement and reluctant to get down from the chair. This creates groups among the TDP leaders in the district.
TDP dissident leaders were supported Mandava as Chairman. Dairy has decided to conduct election for three directors. Both TDP and Mandava have contested separate panel in the election. This election will be held on September 25th. TDP leaders have in thought of dethroning Mandava from the Chairmanship even after his panel wins three directors in the election.
