Telangana Chief Minister K Chandra Sekhar Rao who visited Yadagirigutta Lakshmi Narasimha Swamy temple showered blessings on the Lord himself. The Chief Minister had announced that he will develop the temple on the lines of Tirupati and will make it as popular as the former. KCR also announced that the temple will be given its own sovereignty with out the influence of the government or politicians.
He declared his commitment to develop the holy shrine with the help of corporate companies. KCR announced that the Temple will very soon have a Golden Gopuram with the expense of the government. He insisted authorities to maintain the temple surroundings neat and encourage greenary. The officials also took the drinking water facility problem in the shrine to CM's notice.
On the other side, Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam had stopped accepting the recommendation letters of Telangana 's people's representatives. The temple will provide VIP darshan to only Ministers of Telangana when they visit personally but not through letters. KCR's CMO did not issue even a single recommendation letter since the state bifurcation.
