It is considered easy for film stars to make headway in politics in India and in South India the success of NTR in AP and MGR in Tamil Nadu inspired others to take the plunge.
Recently it was the turn of Chiranjeevi from Telugu industry and Vijaykanth from Tamil industry who took the plunge. While Chiru merged his party with Congress, Vijaykanth also couldn’t live up to hype and is struggling.
Again now it is the buzz surrounding any political moves of Rajnikanth that is making news. With Jaya gone out of poll scene for next ten years and DMK’s home infighting, leaders sense a political vacuum in Tamil Nadu and hence Rajini is being pulled in different directions.
Now the speculation is whether Rajnikanth is learning from the experience of Chiranjeevi’s PRP experiment in AP and whether Chiru is advising his dear friend Rajini over how to handle his political entry!
