The presence of a contingent of pro-Andhra journalists in the Telangana media accreditation and health cards committee has now triggered a major controversy in Hyderabad with angry scribes not taking things lying down.

At the meeting which was convened by the Telangana Press Academy Chairman Allam Narayana yesterday were wild protests against the domination of Andhra media scribes in the Telangana committee.

Telangana journalists have questioned the presence of anti-Telangana personalities like Sakshi editorial director K Ramachandra Murthy, T Venkata Krishna of HMTV and C R Gowrishankar, who represents Deccan Chronicle.

They argued in front of cameras as to how do they represent the Telangana journalists, as they were the one had faced humiliations during Telangana movement and accused KCR of favouring Seemandhra investor, ignoring genuine people of Telangana. They lamented that there was some respect to them during the united AP government due to the Telangana movement.
