Upgraded living standards for Anganwadi workers guaranteed Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao and also for appointing them partners in the development programmes put into practice at village level
The Chief Minister on Saturday in an interaction with Anganwadi workers, helpers and supervisors gathered from districts told the government was dedicated to alter Anganwadi centers in the State as the best in the country.
The Chief Minister heard to all the matters and asked for suggestions on different aspects of the operating of Anganwadi centres for over three hours. The implementation of ‘Kalyana Laxmi’ and ‘Arogya Laxmi’ schemes were also talked at the meeting along with the management of Anganwadi centres, allowance to workers.
The Chief Minister promising the wage increase said that it would be applied since March itself. He also declared that based on their experience and academic qualifications, the supervisor posts would be occupied with Anganwadi workers and would be given priority in other posts too.
