Hyderabad High Court had once again applied Brakes to Telangana government's speed. The Chief Minister planned a state—of-art Secretariat in Erragadda and even allotted 250 Crore for it. The Secretariat will come up at the place where the Chest Hospital is situated now and the hospital is planned for shifting to Vikarabad.

All the opposition parties opposed displacing the Chest hospital but KCR confirmed that there is no second thought. However Telangana Praja Front President B.Maddileti and Telangana Navanirmanasena President K.Venkataiah filed a petition in high court that the Chest and TB hospital is a heritage building and can not be demolished.

The high court ordered the government to stall the demolition plans till it can be established if there is a heritage building there. The high court ordered the government to constitute a high level committee for the verification and asked the committee to come up with the report in six weeks. The high court's order stalls the new secretariat plans for now.
High court is becoming a headache for Telangana government. Earlier in this week we have seen the court becoming serious on delaying of the GHMC elections.
