The TRS party has drawn attention all over by starting up the age-old method of cleaning the lakes which are left contaminated. The opposition party BJP seems to fire at TRS cadre for making Kakatiya Mission confined to their party. G Kishan Reddy said that the money allocated for it is being misused by the TRS leaders who are directly and indirectly involved.
On the other hand a TRS leader from Medak said "Mission Kakatiya has spurred economic activity. The cleaning of lakes has provided employment to labourers and income for owners of JCBs, tractors, tippers etc. Like in any government, local leaders or those close to them did corner works despite e-tenders. Even leaders of other parties are involved."
He further said "A good number of works have gone to those from Siddipet. We will get a chance in the next round." The TRS leaders were waiting till the start of all the programs to work sincerely and to bring good name to the party.
Questioning the partiality to the ruling party, BJP leader Kishan Reddy said "Is it a government or TRS programme? Only TRS MPs and MLAs are participating in launch programmes. The TRS is ignoring the Opposition in the selection of tanks." Countering these allegations, Harish Rao said that the opposition is crying foul over the government activities.
