He is none other than megastar Chiranjeevi and thanks to his PRP merger, he became an MP and minister.

But time has passed by and Congress has suffered severe deathblows, and so did Chiru as a politician. Now, the vibes from Chiru’s camp look clear that he is no longer keen to be part of politics or the Congress party. Recently, Chiru distanced himself from the prestigious Kisan Rally initiated by Rahul Gandhi and his absence was conspicuous.

The bosses at Delhi perceive this message as Chiru’s disinterest so given that situation, will Sonia Gandhi sack Chiranjeevi? If she does that, it is going to cause an uproar in Telugu states given Chiru’s considerable following. If he does that then it would add more criticism to his baggage as his political sojourn is as good as over but with only negative remarks. Since elections is a long time away, maybe the wisest thing for both sides is to keep calm.
