There is no much scrutiny of AP CM Chandrababu Naidu, according to his critics as they feel he is more or less backed by most of the vernacular newspapers of Telugu states, AP and TS. But one leading English Daily popular over the last decade in metros has lashed out at Chandrababu Naidu.

Seshachalam encounter

The daily has clearly specified the Seshachalam encounter as the typical legacy of Naidu and also pointed out that during the day of his oath taking in, few naxalites were killed in an ‘encounter’ which didn’t go unnoticed. It has listed out specific Police DIG’s who weregiven free hand during his tenure as CM of United AP.

The newspaper has given a detailed yearly list of statistics involving alleged deaths of Naxalities in encounters from 1995-2004 and has revealed how Babu is ruthlessly crushing anti-social elements with out following due process of law and how he is using this trait of him to attract investors from abroad.

The paper report which was spread over half page in just the second page on April 19th comes as a shocker to TDP leaders and cadre, especially in the urban towns and cities. It has given a blow by blow account of Babu’s legacy and questioned his rule, saying it marks anew phase of fake encounters in AP. TDP is yet to respond to this.
