No body really thought KCR's Telangana Rashtra Samiti will form the government in the separate state but the party battled all odds and reached the position of what it is today. Unarguably, KCR will get the major pie of TRS success. However KCR is always seen as an inconsistent leader who even never really talked in Parliament on Telangana issue.
Also back in those days, KCR used to have the habit of disappearing all of sudden from Public domain and spend many days in his farm house. Harish Rao played a crucial part in keeping the party intact and he is always considered as the Number two. However the advent of KTR and Kavitha in to politics always made Harish Rao's place uncertain.

As Telangana heat increased, KTR and Kavitha also grew by leaps and bounds along with KCR's popularity. After coming to power, there are growing discussions on the next heir of KCR. There are some rumours about KCR's health and in that awake, the heir topic gains more prominence.
Off late, KTR's influence on the party is growing. All the district Presidents are now KTR's men and Harish Rao is slowly sidelined from the party. Verbal instructions have gone to decrease Harish Rao's photos in the Party posters and hoardings. On the other side, Harish Rao is also preparing himself for this challenge. It is said that Harish may lead to a rebellion in two years if TRS fails to crack the GHMC elections.
