In the midst of news from the Central government that went viral about the denial of any grants like Special status to any state is all set to push the Centre especially the Prime Minister Modi into a difficult situation. The TDP which is in alliance with BJP is now trying to mount immense pressure on the Centre.
The Andhra Pradesh Speaker Kodela Shiva Prasad blamed the Modi government to be same as UPA which has failed to deliver its promises to the people. He said that there were many ministers who first gave a nod to the Special status while few announce that there is no thought of special status in future.
Courting the deep-neck crisis of the Andhra Pradesh state, Speaker Kodela Shiva Prasad said "Hyderabad which was developed so well in undivided AP is the sole reason behind bifurcation. AP has got every right to receive Special Status Category." He also said that the Andhra Pradesh people should join hands and pressurize the Centre for special status. Doesn't this look like a split between the parties?
