Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh

Responding to all these, the Central Home Minister Rajnath Singh said that Centre cannot ask for a CBI inquiry unless the state government appeals for it. Rajnath said "CBI inquiry can be done only after State government places a petition for it. We cannot do anything till the state approaches us." He added that few PILs were admitted in the Court.
