Development has to be spread out even and it shouldn’t be concentrated at one place. This is the rule which has more or less been in force for last few years in India. Of course, all development being focused on Hyderabad and AP being neglected is one sore point for Telugu people, which is still affecting them.
Chandrababu Naidu started IT hubs
When it comes to Hyderabad, after core business areas like Secunderabad, Koti, Abids etc., getting saturated, Chief Ministers like Kotla Vijay Bhaskar Reddy and then later Chandrababu Naidu started IT hubs and other industries towards outskirts. This was due to easy availability of land and decongesting strategy.
KCR had come into picture
But right from the time KCR had come into picture, hardcore Telangana activists say that proposals like skyscrapers near Sanjeevayya park,demolition of Ravindra Bharathi, Kalabaharathi at NTR stadium and then proposed secretariat at Erragadda hospital followed by Gymkhana proposal and now proposal to take over lands of HCU, CCMB, OU etc are nothing but destructive than productive.
They now say that no Seemandhra CM tried to harm the image of Hyderabad this way with such confusing and controversial proposals.Kanchia Ilaiah, retired JNU professor of Delhi said recently in a TVshow that till date no Chief Minister of United AP messed up with Hyderabad like what KCR has been doing!
