The veteran director of the Tollywood Industry Dasari Narayana Rao who worked as a Union Minister for Coal during the Congress rule has been granted a bail by the CBI Special Court that is carrying out the probe in the issue. The bail has been granted on a personal bond of Rs 1 lakh till June 1st. The court also said that the accused are notpermitted to leave the country.
The Court mentioned that Naveen Jindal of the Jindal Group has influenced the state and central governments so that the company will be benefited with the allocation of coal. On 29th April, the CBI filed a charge sheet against Dasari along with 14 others and that other leading 5 companies.
Dasari and the other 13 attended the court hearing today and the CBI Court has given a relief verdict to the members. However ,Dasari stressed being innocent and made clear that he was involved by others without his knowledge.
