At the upcoming ‘Mahanadu’ of the TDP to be held in Gandipet,Hyderabad, the President of the Telangana TDP is all set to be announced. The major contenders without any doubt are Errabelli Dayakar Rao and Revanth Reddy. According to reports, Revanth Reddy is the favorite contender given his closeness to Nara Lokesh.

Moreover, Revanth is again being seen as the only opposition politician apart from Congress party’s Shabbir Ali who are consistently lashing out at auto cratic rule of KCR and family. Naidu is planning to appease the powerful Reddy lobby in Telangana region.
Errabelli had met KCR twice already
TDP also offered MLC ticket recently under MLA quota to Vem Narendra Reddy , reportedly backed by Revanth who inturn enjoys backing of the Nara family. Errabelli had met KCR twice already and he is now upset that Babu might most likely choose Revanth for the top post.
Sources say that in case Revanth is made T-TDP chief, then Errabelli may have to take a decision and he may meet KCR thrice, after TRS coming to power. At the same time there are others who say that this may not be the case. Either Revanth may be pushed back for a chance next time or Errabelli Dayakar Rao may have to simply keep quiet if Revanth is indeed chosen.
