During the process of AP’s bifurcation, employees of AP had to face alot of humiliation over alleged in difference meted out to them. At one point of time, during Telangana statehood movement, employees also claimed that they are ready to work under trees and sheds for new state.
But after formation of new state
But after formation of new state, there has been a cold response from them. Although lack of primary facilities has been demotivating them,never the less the comforts of Hyderabad, the local status of their children and other issues have been pushing them back from moving to proposed capital region.

AP Irrigation Minister Devineni Uma Maheshwar Rao was among the first among ministers to shift his head office to Vijayawada from where is functioning. Very soon, CM Naidu and other ministers are expected to follow suit. Now, Uma has gone one step head and has proposed shifting all the offices of his department.
This has infuriated employees who would be abandoning their duties tomorrow at Jala Soudha in Hyderabad. But the minister is refusing to buckle under any pressure and has made it clear that AP employees should stop enjoying local comforts and start moving towards their capital to develop their regions.
