Arch political rivals Congress and TDP have come together to attack common enemy TRS in MLC election. Congress has 22 MLAs in the assembly and can easily win for its candidate Akula Lalitha as MLC. Congress strength has reduced to 18 after four of them joined in TRS. Congress discussed on how to get Akula Lalitha’s victory. Congress MLAs have discussed on benefits of First Preference vote and how the party safely won with its second Preference vote in MLC.

Kumar Reddy has raised the issue of Second Preference vote in MLC election.
Congress MLAs have agreed his opinion and feel that Congress will get benefit on
second preference vote. Majority MLAs feel that second preference vote to TDP
nominee Vem Narender Reddy and request TDP MLAs to do same in MLC election.

CLP leader Jana Reddy and TDP leader Revanth Reddy were discussed on same issue. Congress High Command will decide on second preference vote in MLC election. Congress party has a planned to raise camp on May 31st in Golkonda Resorts and educate MLAs on procedure in MLC election which scheduled on June 01st.
