TRS has grown into a large party at the expense of TDP, because after the birth of pink party, TDP has never recovered again. this is a plain fact because the desertion of cadre as well as rank and file has damaged TDP, which was a formidable force to reckon with in the region.
TDP has survived
To this day, if TDP has survived, it is because of NTR’ s moves for uplifting the down trodden sections of society and BC’s in the region.Also, Naidu’s transformation has transformed Hyderabad, boosting the fortunes of people living in Ranga reddy region. There is always a fascination for TDP in Telangana too.
Mahanadu was held with Kakatiya thoranam
Now with TSR coming to power, it would be 15 years by 2019 that TDP would be out of power here which had a clear effect on its morale. But the manner in which Mahanadu was held with Kakatiya thoranam on one side and Amaravathi on other side has again shown what TDP stands for.
With TRS becoming more arrogant, Naidu is sure of occupying political space in the region and hence he is still hopeful of the cycle party performing well in the region, which is now a second state for Telugu speaking people. TDP is confident while TRS is adamant that this confidence becomes shattered.
