AP CM Chandra Babu Naidu and his TDP government is nurturing grand plans on new capital in the state. However nothing is going on according to their plans. Right from the beginning government is facing opposition on land acquisition and when they planned to lay the foundation stone, it was found that the muhurat was not auspicious.

 

AP government received another shock


Much to the shock of all, it cameout that the capital construction master plan submitted by the Singapore Government is only copy paste and nothing new in it. Now AP government received another shock. It received notices from the National Green Tribunal over the construction of the capital.


AP government after hearing the arguments


The tribunal was acting on the complaint filed by individuals who are opposing the construction of the capital in the green belt region in Guntur district. Justice Swatanter Kumar, Chairperson of the tribunal issued notices to AP government after hearing the arguments of the petitioners led by Tirumal Prasad Patil and others.

 

Petitioners argued that if the capital construction will go as planned, Krishna river bed will face huge threat. Tribunal posted the case for hearing on July 27th.
