The note for vote scam was a
blot on Telangana unit of TDP. This was a boon to Kishan Reddy, the BJP
chief of Telangana who wanted to steer the alliance away from TDP
towards TRS. Till recently, whatever
advantage
the BJP had over censuring the TDP regarding the ‘vote-for-cash’ will
now have no political leverage.
After shielding Sushma Swaraj and Vasundhara Raje in the current ‘Lalit Modi’ issue and now becoming defensive and silent on Puja Munde’s scam, BJP seems to have lost its moral right in concerning Chandrababu or TDP outfit of corruption. From now a thousand arrows would be hurled at the BJP for each arrow from T-TDP.

But this also shows a classic example of political equality in India. YS Jagan has cases pending against him already in Court; Congress is labeled as the ‘father of corruption’ and now the NDA partners TDP and BJP are officially exposed. In a way Kishan Reddy has to be silent now.
The TDP-BJP alliance in Telangana which was expected to end with Warangal Lok Sabha by poll would have to be now going ahead. With one master stroke, albeit in an indirect way Chandrababu Naidu now will manage the alliance and once again, Kishan Reddy will have to be silent.
