Education once used to be a noble profession but for the past ten decades it turned out to be a golden goose for entrepreneurs and politicians. Instead of concentrating on imparting value based education to children, unearthing hidden talent and nurturing them, the managements started showing stars with exorbitant fees.

Earlier people used to be under the impression that education became the birth right of the rich and affluent. But schools started showing stars even to the elite community. Every year they started increasing school fees by 20% and even after repeated complaints to the Government, authorities chose to look the other way.
Many say this is due to the nexus between the politicians and school management and that is the reason Government officials are sleeping despite government order. School management punch holes in the pocket of parents with expensive annual days, excursions, gadgets and so on.

Managements of high profile schooles like Divya Dishya, Chire International School and Geetanjali senior school justified fees hike saying their facilities,training demand such hike, parents warn to intensify their agitation. Even Hyderabad Schools Parents' Association decided to step in the agitation accusing state government of inaction. Parents allege even college education is cheaper than LKG saying for LKG they have paid 80000 per annum as school fees.
