Young Tiger NTR pulled out several larger than life characters at a very young age and later struggled to come out of that image when the trend changed. Off late he is preferring youth oriented films so as to make an impact on the new generation audience. The six pack, lean look and all are as a part of that attempt. When NTR announced his prestigious 25th film under Sukumar's direction, it invoked mixed reactions from fans.

Sukumar except for Aarya series never known to give big hits. Also he just delivered a disaster in the form of 1-Nenokkadine. Fans were sure that he can not deliver the much needed blockbuster to NTR but they were sure that he will portray NTR in a fresh look which will change the perception of the audience on the actor which will come to handy in the long run.
However Sukumar announced that Maa Nannaku Prematho will be a revenge story and will have all the elements expected from NTR starer. When fans are waiting for Sukumar's mark on the film, they fear they are being served the old formula NTR film. If this really happens, it will be a huge disappointment for the actor's fans. The regular shooting of the film will begin from July 6th in London and the film is being planned for Sankranthi 2016 release.
