Megastar Chiranjeevi entered into politics with great dreams but eventually it turned out that his party Praja Rajyam got merged into congress and he had to be happy as an MLA at Tirupathi. But then, a lot of criticism came in from the locals stating that Chiru has never bothered to look into the development of the temple town.
Today, Chiranjeevi has become a union minister and he left Tirupathi. But he seems to have realized about it and has reportedly given a farewell gift. Buzz is that Chiru has arranged for a sanction of Rs 450 crores funds for improvement of water supply and drainage systems.
The locals are very happy but their happiness is shortlived. Though the funds are there, it is heard that the YSR Congress is not coming forward to use those funds and help the situation. They are angry because they were not voted to power during the earlier election and are not keen to give Chiranjeevi the credit. Let us see what megastar will do.
