Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi after his party's crushing defeat in the recent general elections disappeared from Parliament for months when it was in session. This shocked many while party sources announced that he went for some soul searching and get some Gyaan in the process.
Right after his return he started shocking all by attacking ruling BJP and PM Modi turning aggressive from the beginning. He has been touring various states fighting for the farmer’s issues highlighting suicide deaths. But he attracted opposition attacks for selecting only opposition ruled states conveniently ignoring suicide deaths in Congress ruled states.
He recently visited Andhra Pradesh and Telangana and there too after going on padayatra highlighted farmer’s deaths. He spent time with the family members and tried to attract media attention. However all his good work was lost as he showed discrimination in giving compensation to AP farmers compared to Telangana farmers.

Now he is facing yet another bigger test and that is AP special status test in Parliament. PM Modi and NDA government at Centre announced in parliament that special status is not possible. Congress party which was decimated in AP got the golden chance to revive itself and win the hearts of people.
