Sources say that Modi had indeed confirmed his visit to Tirupati that may be finalized in a day or two.

It was reportedly decided at the meeting between CM Chandrababu Naidu and PM Modi in Delhi on Tuesday wherein the PM will be making an announcement regarding special package in Tirupati as he had promised the same during an election rally in the temple town in the year 2014 before elections.

Naidu reportedly presented his case strongly

Naidu reportedly presented his case strongly during the 90-minute meeting with the PM showing the copies of speeches which was made by Modi and Venkaiah Naidu wherein both the leaders had spoke about special status to AP as well as construction of a capital city which would be better than Hyderabad.

Babu also reportedly brought to the notice of the PM about the recent suicide of a youth at Tirupati during a rally for demanding special status and also mentioned the growing public resentment over this delay on the issue. Modi reportedly told the CM’s delegation that he would be taking necessary action for making Naidu `happy' and would also be expediting the release of funds.
