Leader of the opposition, YSRCP president Jagan Mohan Reddy said rising prices are giving shock to people of Andhra Pradesh. Speaking in the assembly after the session started Jagan Mohan Reddy said price rise is paining people and there should be immediate discussion on the issue.

He said his party has already given adjournment motion to the speaker according to rule 344. He said there should be discussion on the issue at any cost and demanded when the speaker will agree for it. Speaker Kodela Shiva Prasad Rao said he agrees with the concerns of the opposition parties but requested that discussion can be had after the finish of question hour.
However YSRCP members didnot agree to the Speaker's request. They started protesting on having their way in the assembly much to the embarrassment of the ruling TDP party.
