Even before one could forget the Rishiteshwari's suicide alleging ragging by her seniors in Nagarjuna University,another incident of ragging cameout in open. However this time new Incharge VC, senior IAC officer Udaya Lakshmi responded in quick time and after thorough investigation suspended the ragging student.
According to the sources Ratna Manjari, first year student of MSc first year student was eve teased and ragged repeatedly by Balayya, Aqua Culture student. It was revealed that he had been tormenting her pressurising her to love him.Ratna Manjari unable to bear his torture finally complained to Pedakakani Police Station on Thursady. Police registered case and started their investigation.
In the meantime VC Udaya Lakshmi conducted her own inquires and after finding that it the ragging incident was indeed true suspended Balayya for two weeks.
