TDP President Chandra Babu Naidu seeks to strengthen TDP in Telangana state. CBN has discussed around 4 hours with TDP leaders in Telangana on party position in the state and newly formed committee. Babu feels difficulty in selecting the name for Telangana TDP President. There was no improvement in party position even after 15 months of the general elections in Telangana. TDP is facing struggle to exist in the state with TRS “Operation Akarsh”.
Chandra Babu wants to rejuvenate TDP in 10 districts of Telangana before Warangal MP and Narayanakhed Assembly bye-elections. That’s the reason Babu left the option to 4 lac TDP workers in Telangana state in election of its President. Using IVR (Interactive Voice Response) technology, Chandra Babu will select Party President to Telugu Desam in Telangana. There are no options to select. Party cadre directly suggests President Name in IVR.
If that is so, Revanth Reddy will get President of TDP in Telangana region. Before and after Vote-to-Note issue, Revanth Reddy tried to disturb and irritate Telangana Chief Minister KCR with constructive arguments. Jana Reddy is not acting as Opposition leader in the house against TRS. As per buzz, some people in Reddy Community want one strong leader to check TRS in the state. Babu believed that Reddy Community support to TDP with Revanth’s candidature. Chandra Babu will announce Revanth name after Ganesh Festival.
