TDP boss Chandrababu Naidu has recently made grand announcements regarding his party's central committee while his son Nara Lokesh has been elevated as the new general secretary. At the same time Balakrishna was not given any post within this committee.
In fact, this seems to have disappointed his ardent fans as they have been expecting something big all the while for Balakrishna. It appears that Balayya himself had stated that he never wanted anything, but his fans are quite particular to see him in some role.
Balayya has categorically stated
But the talk among TDP circles is that Balayya has categorically stated that he doesn’t want any post in the committee because fans will not be happy with anything seen as less substantial. He seems to have made it clear even to Chandrababu.
At the same time Chandrababu has given a nominal post to Harikrishna who had been sidelined for quite some time. His fans as well as Balayya seem to be least bothered because his brother-in-law is the chairman of central committee while his son-in-law is anyway the general secretary.
