• The Architecture of the temple belongs to the 7th Century and it has inscriptions from Pallava, Chola and Vijayanagar dynasty

• Also, 70,000 devotees have their Anna Prasadam every day in the temple premises

• 'Brahmtosavam' is the biggest festival celebrated here once a year and it is celebrated as 9-Day extravaganza
