Another Cricket Festival has begun in India with Indian Premier League season  10 . The tournament started of in grand style in the pearl city Hyderabad.  The opening match between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Royal Challengers  Bengaluru had kept the cricket fans on their toes.

The Royal Challengers captain Shane Watson who replaced Virat due to his injury, won the toss and invited the hosts to bat first. Opener Shikar Dhawan and captain Warner gave a good start to the SRH. Warner who looked good with his big hits was dismissed early for 14 runs by Chodhary.  Henriques and Shikhar Dhawan took the responsibility of moving the score board. They put up a 74 run partnership before Dhawan (40)fell a prey to Binny.

The man for whom the crowd came to see Yuvraj Singh made his entry on to the field. Yuvraj Singh played a brilliant knock.  Henriques who carried the tempo scored half century before getting out to Chahal. It was then Yuvraj Singh who gave a visual feast to the spectators with his massive sixes and fours. Yuvraj scored 62 runs of just 27 balls. Hooda and Ben cutting played some extradinary shots which gave a score of 207 runs in the limited 20 0vers.

Needed 208 runs to win, Royal Challengers Bengaluru also started off well With Chris Gayle and Madeep Singh. Mandeep Singh was bowled by the Afghanistan Bowler and debutant in IPL Rashid in his first over. Mandeep scored 24. In just 8runs gap Chris Gayle who played massive shots mis judged the ball that was bowled by Hooda  and was caught near the boundary by Warner. Gayle managed to score 32 runs.  The 23 year old Jadhav who looked good with his stroke was run out on 31 runs.Head was sent back by Rashid on 30.  Except for Shane Watson who remained unbeaten on 22,all the other batsmen failed.  Thus Bengaluru getting all out for 172 runs and Hyderabad winning by 35 runs.

In SRH bowling  Nehra,Bhuwaneshwar Kumar and Rashid khan took 2 wickets eachwhile Hooda and Bipul Sharma took a wicket each.

Before the match began the10th edition of the Indian Premier league got off to a glitzy start with a short but sizzling opening ceremony in Hyderabad. The highlight of the opening ceremony was the felicitation of four Indian cricket legends - Sachin Tendulkar, Sourav Ganguly, Virender Sehwag and VVS Laxman. Also, Bollywood star Amy Jackson set the stage on fire with her brilliant performance.

Man of the match was awarded to Yuvraj Singh for his brilliant knock of 62 runs.
